Anne Wright
CV

Anne Wright trained at Nottingham College of Art, followed by five years at the Royal Academy Schools in London. Whilst there she won the David Murray Landscape Scholarship twice and Silver Bronze Medals for life painting portrait painting.


She has had solo Exhibitions and shows in group shows such as the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition & the Paris Salon where she won the Medaille d'Argent. As a member of the Small Paintings Group & the Chelsea Art Society she exhibits annually with both and has twice won the Agnes Reeve Memorial Award for a painting of London. She has also twice been made Straker Artist of the Year. She has travelled extensively and lived in Greece,Spain & Morrocco and her landscapes bear evidence of this. Her work is held in private collections in Great Britain,America & Australia and in the Candie Museum in Guernsey.

Anne is President and secretary of the Small Paintings Group.
