Caroline studied at The Corcoran Gallery School of Art, Washington DC and at master classes at The Slade School of Art, London

She has had two books commissioned: Caroline Lees Watercolours of Shropshire, and The Way of Life (Icons) and her paintings can be found in many collections including that of the Ritz Hotel, London, the National Trust, Adam & Company bank and St Catherine's Monastry Sinai. She has done work for many companies including the Palace Office, Sultanate of Oman, commercial companies in Saudi Arabia and the Garsington Opera Company.

Caroline studied icon painting under Aidan Hart with follow up tuition at Sergiev Posad Monastery outside Moscow and also with Tatiana Kolibaba of St Petersburg, Russia, and Monk Iakobus from Mount Athos.

Caroline has exhibited in the USA, the Middle East and London including the Royal Academy and had three one man shows at Rafael Valls, Ryder St. St. James's. She also undertakes commissions.
