Diana Whelan ARBS
CV Diana Whelan ARBS trained as a painter at Goldsmith's and spent several years designing and art editing on magazines in New York and London. After the birth of her children she took up pottery and established her own studio, selling domestic ware and teaching in Adult Education. She followed this by setting up a Pottery Department in Westminster School where she taught ceramics for eleven years

Since 1985 Diana has worked entirely as a sculptor, becoming an associate of the Royal British Society of Sculptors in1992. Her style is mainly figurative and she enjoys working to commission for a particular site in a garden or public space.

Her work is in private collections throughout the country and in Holland, Germany. Portugal, France, Switzerland, Italy and the USA. Public commissions include the Universty of Keele, St. Thomas' Hospital, Otto Schiff Housing Association and Albourne Church West Sussex.

Diana Whelan exhibits with the major London Art Societies. She shared a two-sculptor show "In the Round" at the Orangery, Holland Park, London in 2003, and is a regular exhibitor at ArtParkS International.
