Maggie Butler
CV

Maggie uses simple line and shape to get to the essence of a theme. Her
sculpture shows vulnerability and innocence in human, animal and bird
form and her larger sculptures are still reflective yet at the same
time extract a power. All her work has a rhythmic signature.
Originally a painter and printmaker, Maggie focused newly on sculpture
in the late ‘90s and her three-dimensional works have been displayed in
many gardens in the South East, such as RHS Wisley and Savill Gardens
(Crown Estate). She has exhibited sculpture throughout the South and in
London galleries.
A number of sculptures have been commissioned and she has work in
Britain, America, South Africa and Hong Kong.
