Christopher Miers

I am a landscape painter, generally working on a small scale in oils or tempera en plain air. My favourite subjects are the Fulham allotments, the London parks, the River Thames and Cornwall. I also paint in India, Italy and on the coast of South Africa near Cape Town. Now and then in the studio I work up larger versions of my small canvases. I have been a member of the Chelsea Art Society since 1978. I am also an elected member of the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA) and the Small Paintings Group, and have exhibited regularly at the Royal Academy since 1985. My work is in the collection of the Imperial War Museum, the Houses of Parliament and the Sultan of Oman. More details can be found on my web-site.
