Paintings and Frames

Caroline read English at Durham University and worked as a writer and magazine editor before starting to paint. Initially taught by the artist Tony Rothon, she now works on her own and with studio groups in London, concentrating mostly on still-life and interiors, with occasional figures.

In the last few years she has exhibited at the Royal Academy’s Summer Exhibition, the Piers Feetham Gallery in Fulham, at the Aldeburgh Festival and with the Chelsea Art Society. She also makes frames to commission, and continues to write - in particular interviewing artists and makers for Country Living and Modern Rustic magazines.
